GUEST OF HONOR

Pilot (they/he) has been a furry longer than they haven't, and as such, is a strong believer in the power of furry community. They currently act as senior staff for Furries of Maryland (née MD Furs) where they help manage an active statewide community with a focus on helping furries find community and feeling less alone in this world. They found their passion for furry community in 2016 in South Jersey, cofounding the small but mighty Wild Rumpus furgroup.

With a keen understanding of furry being a safe haven for queer folks, creatives, dreamers, underdogs, and kind-hearted weirdos of all stripes, Pilot takes their role as community steward very seriously (maybe too seriously). In addition to being a community manager, Pilot is a multi-media furry artist and sometimes fursuit maker. When they are not a talking coydog online, you can find them biking around their home in Baltimore, at a cafe with a black coffee and book, or scampering on a rugby pitch.
