The first New Years Furry Ball which we commonly refer to as “NYFB” started as a small party in 2005 called “Room Con” which would eventually expand to the event that attracts well over 300 attendees annually. NYFB this year is a one night event, however locals are known to stay at the hotel for more than one night.
The event has seen many changes over the years but has remained as one of the hot spots for celebrating the new year in the northeast United States. Each event brings together many people from different backgrounds with a wide variety of interests to celebrate an all new year for our fandom.
NYFB is hosted by a non-profit group called The Furst State Foundation which you can find more information on by clicking here. This dedicated group seeks to keep the party on for years to come.
