Event History
The first New Years Furry Ball ("NYFB") began in 2005 as a small gathering known as "Room Con." Over the years, it expanded into one of the Northeast’s longest-running furry New Year celebrations, welcoming hundreds of attendees annually.
Today, NYFB is a multi-day 18+ event that brings together members of the furry fandom from a wide range of backgrounds and interests to celebrate the start of a new year in a fun, social, and community-focused environment.
As the event has evolved, NYFB has remained committed not only to creating memorable experiences for attendees, but also to giving back through charitable fundraising and community support efforts.
NYFB is organized by The Furst State, a nonprofit community organization dedicated to supporting fandom events and ensuring the continued growth of the community for years to come. You can find more information about TheFurstState by clicking here.
